Cannabis clubs, Who can own one?

Cannabis clubs, Who can own one?I am thinking about opening a cannabis club in
Sacramento, Ca. It is the easiest business I can
think of to start. The cost of starting it is
very very low and if the prices are set to
accommodate the majority of patients their would
be a line outside the door daily! Most of the
clubs I know of are charging astronomical prices
and they are obviously in it for pure profit and
the patients needs are completely over looked.
Most people who would qualify to use mmj would
seem to have some sort of disability and a lot of
patients are completely disabled and are on SSI
or some other state assistance so they can not
afford to purchase from the cannabis clubs that
are available to them now. It just does not set
right with me to think about how many people
could get relief from this controversial
medicinal plant but they wont try it because they
simply can not afford it! This bothers me to no
end and I want to do something about it.
Being a patient myself, I know the benefits of
using mmj and know that it should be affordable
by anyone who needs it! The clubs are selling
their mmj for prices that can not be met by most
disabled folks. $375.00 buys you one ounce of
medicinal grade marijuana.
For me that is only a couple of topical
applications or maybe a weeks worth of viable
medicine! How can I afford it? I can't!I am
forced to use conventional meds when I am not
able to use mmj and the side effects are killing
me. My liver is very bad and because of all the
pain meds taken over the course of my
disabilities, about the past 10 + years or more
has cause my tolerance to build up and now I am
forced to take twice as much as I used to take to
get any form of relief. I have not been able to
get anyone else to join me yet so If I have to do
it on my own, so be it but at least I will be able
to say, "I did what I was able to do" We need to
unite together and bring it under control. We
need to establish a price cap for the clubs so
the greed will cease and patients will be able to
use the meds they choose and the cdr recommends
them to use! These clubs are legal according to
Sacramento, country and the state of California.
And they are a much needed thing in this area so
that all are equally able to get the meds needed
to get relief!
Why would anyone not want to be a part of
something as big as this ?
