The Correct Way to Fit Your Dog’s Choke Collar

This picture shows the correct way to fit your dog’s choke collar.

There is a new type choke collar called the Comfort Chain Dog Collar which is suppose to provide more comfort to your dog wothout losing any training effect.

The Comfort Chain Dog Collar should always be in the shape of a “P”.

An easy way to remember this is “P” is for perfect.

If you are interested in truly embracing the art of dog training and do not yet have a Comfort Chain Dog Collar I highly recommend you get one.

They are rather inexpensive and extremely effective in establishing pack leadership.

Contrary to various misconceptions, choke collars are not cruel and unusual!

Choke collars do NOT choke your dog when they are used correctly with proper technique.

Remember to always use a strong solid leather lead in coordination with your choke collar. A quick snap leash correction is what you are looking for.

If you decide to go with a choke training collar, make sure it is on correctly so you do not hurt your dog.
