John, Tim and Ben were curious explorers. They wanted to know all about the haunted house near the school. When they reached there, they tingled with fear. They heard an eerie sound and they were scared. Although it was a school holiday, the haunted house was deserted. They saw the lights went off suddenly. They tried to run out of the haunted house but the door was locked. After a few minutes, the lights were on and the door was unlocked. When they went out, they saw a mischievous boy playing with the lights and locking the door. They told their parents about their journey and their parents planned to punish the culprit who played the nasty joke on them.
