It’s so hard
To fake the smile on my face
Because it’s all this pain
That I just can’t erase.

Day after day,
I put on this smile.
It gets so hard
After a while.

I don’t want to pretend.
I want it to be real.
It’s the sad part
That I don’t want to feel.
