A big tool collection is one way to a redneck guy's heart. If he can boast about his collection, it swells his manly pride. If he has the latest and greatest, it brings admiration from the other guys he knows. Somehow being able to say, "I got a Sears Craftsman tool for Father's Day" makes redneck Dads feel all tingly inside. So, do a little research and check around to see what the latest new-fangled tool is that's on the market and run down to Sears before Father's Day. (Tip: As high as gas prices are, and as frustrating as it is to navigate through a maze of people and traffic, you could shop online and save some of the hassle.) It helps if it's something Dad doesn't already own, but if he does own it and it's worn he might be relieved and very thankful to get a new one. Another place redneck Dads love is a Bass Pro shop. Men almost drool at the thought of all the wonderful things they could get from one of these stores! I must admit, even though I'm female it's still fun to browse in a Bass Pro ever so often. Dangling the words "Bass Pro Shop" in front of a Dad is like dangling the words "garage sale" to a garage sale junkie (ahem, yes, I confess). They make it easy on the gas tank as well with their online access. What about Kohl's? Now, before you say that isn't a store for redneck Dad gifts, at least give it some thought. Some redneck Dads are too proud to admit that they enjoy receiving items from stores like this because of their fancy atmosphere. On the other hand, some guys will enjoy bragging to their friends that they got something from a classy store like Kohl's. Sorta like a status symbol thing, you see. Kohl's has cologne, a team shop for the sporty Dad, electronics, watches, cologne, and more. Even redneck Dads like to smell good for their women, right? I know I'd much rather shop online and put the money I would have spent on gas into the gift itself. So, as you wander our Feedthevillage streets, maybe you could keep Dad in mind. Sometimes stores will have special deals just for online shoppers that aren't allowed elsewhere.
