JUST GONNA WALK TODAY

Another day another penny,
gas prices rise and my pockets get skinny,
when will it stop, no one knows,
i might as well throw my summer vacation right out the window,
working just to gas up my ride,
savings trickle away and im losing my pride,
making 40k and still broke,
starting to feel like the american dream is just a joke,
my stress level rises with the gas price,
as i pump i look and think twice,
i might just walk to day, that would be nice!
