Different Body Types: Am I a Hardgainer?

When most people think about a weight problem they automatically assume that a person is over weight.

Well this is not always the case. What about people who eat like crazy and still can never Put on weight? Yes they do exist, and yes I am one of those people.

You don’t need to have a PHD to determine if you are a hard gainer. Hardgainers are what we call ectomorphs.

Ectomorphs are people who are skinny and lanky no matter what they seem to eat. Hardgainers will have a harder time putting on muscle than other body types, but it is by no means impossible.

In order for the hard gainer to see results, changes in diet and training are the fundamental components to gaining mass. Being a hard gainer is most likely linked to predetermined genetic dispositions beyond our control.

Supplements from GNC Store can give you an advantage in combating unfriendly genetics.

Being a hard gainer will come with its advantages and disadvantages. For example, a hard gainer will only need to work out 3 times a week with little cardio! On the contrary, hard gainers must eat at least 6 meals a day, which require preparation time and planning. BSN Lean Dessert Protein Shake, Banana Cream tastes great and requires very little preparation time.

For good or bad, it is what it is. This guide is intended to help other hard gainers stack weight on their tiny frames. The answer to being a hard gainer is NOT steroids. Steroids come with a great deal of risk and medical complications that can be life threatening.

Unfortunately we live in an era where steroids control professional sports, and set bad examples for up and coming athletes. If you want to get big, eat big! This is what has helped me gain close to fifteen pounds of muscle; remember, every persons body is different and will respond differently to changes in diet and exercise.

Before partaking in any weight training or change in diet I suggested you talk to a physician to make sure you are healthy enough for vigorous activity.
