Starting or growing a business: Work on the 4 success fundamentals
Starting or growing a business: Get the business fundamentals. Starting a business and growing a business are some of the most fun and exciting times of your life. When that spark hits and your dreams and hopes are on overdrive, you can't sleep even taking time to eat is a distraction. Once the decision is made and it permeates every fiber of your being - all your energy and effort starts goes to the building that business and taking it to the next level. STOP! Take a breath! What I have discovered with the many failures and a few major successes in my personal business life are the following: 1. The business or company can Only be as good, as strong and as big as the people leading it and their vision. 2. It always comes back to the fundamentals not just of the business but of the core philosophies and attributes of those running the business. 3. If you work harder on yourself than you do on the company - you will find success. 4. Plan for the worst and prepare for the best. Those are the 4 MAJOR basics that will all but insure your success in everything that you do. Right now you are probably saying - "Great - so what?" "That was nice of you to put those 4 General things down but what does that really mean and HOW do I get there and apply these from here?" I will expand and explain in a series of over the next few days on each of these Major general categories. I will make every effort to break them down, tear them apart, share with you examples and give resources that will help you grow not only your business but improve your personal life. The great thing is that you have the ability to share your personal stories and challenges on here as well. I am only one person with one set of life experiences - so the best that I can do is give my perspective -I do so hope that you will give and share yours as well to help others and myself. I am asking you to look at those 4 general ideas and take a few minutes to formulate questions and ask them or share what that means to you or give examples from your life where these hold true.
