Family Travel: Overview Two years ago, I was fortunate enough to take a family vacation to West Palm Beach Florida. Our travel agent told us West Palm Beach was the answer to our cheap travel search. My father, my step mother, my brother, and I all stayed for a week in the local Marriott. The hotel itself was immaculate. The structure was big, strong, and visually tantalizing. The hotel had several pools, beach access, and a divers travel guide. My step mother is always trying to find the best online travel bargain, and we got a very good rate on our rooms. I am one of those hardcore travel enthusiasts and have been all around the Caribbean and Mexico. West Palm Beach was different in that the water did not have that slick baby blue aqua tone to it. The sand was soft, and the water clean, but no teal water. I personally would rather travel international than domestic, but I was surprised by the hotel and its amenities. The trip was more about kicking back and relaxing after some long hours of work. Family bonding on the beach; there is nothing like it. My trip to West Palm Beach was fun, enjoyable, and safe. If you are going to travel to Florida and are not going to Disney World, West Palm Beach is a great alternative.
