Venison Back straps Filet's

Venison back straps might be the best meat you can digest.

Here is something I tried this year.

Instead of having the back straps butterflied like everyone else on the planet, I had them cut into 1 1/4" filet's.

We cooked them on the grill to medium rare and they turned out incredible.

Next time you take your deer to the processor, give this a try.

The meat is more tender and does not dry out like the traditional butterflied cut.

Good Hunting,

Chris
