Health Diet Nutrition- Still Working Out!! Well, I did it. I went a joined a gym. And I signed up with a Weight Manager. I must say that my first day at the gym was not all that bad.
I had my personal trainer show me the cardio machines and which ones worked best for me. At the time it felt really good to work out but come morning, I almost couldn't get out of bed.
My upper thighs were really sore. I have the
Elliptical Machine
, the beast, to thank for that. This was on New Year's Day.
I went back the next day to meet with the Weight Manager and after learning how fat I really was decided to go get back on the "Beast" again. I was on it for about 5 minutes this time.
On my 3rd trip back to the gym, I meet with my trainer again. He showed me some weight training excersises with the
Dumbbells
.
It went really well. I was not as sore the next day.
I have really tried to stick with the menu that the WM has given me to get started. The one thing I have done is to drink at least 64oz of water a day.
I have managed to get down 83-84oz a day and going to the bathroom every 5 minutes. But I was told that would slow down shortly.
This is my 4th time to the
Gym
and I'm on my own.
I went and weighed in and had lost 1 1/2 pounds in 4 days. I know it doesn't sound like much, but I at least I didn't gain any weight.
I must be doing something right.
I am trying to go to the gym every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and every other Saturday. It should give me a good start to my new and better healthy life.
