Working out with Personal Trainer!!!!



Well, I had my first meeting with my personal trainer and it was good.

I started off on the Elliptical Machine, which I will refer to as the "beast", I walked on the treadmill and rode the bike.

This all took about 30 minutes which is the recommended time for Cardio exercise. It felt really good.

The next morning however, I had trouble getting out of bed. I really had trouble when I had to go to the bathroom and couldn't squat to sit down. OUCH!!

I had a meeting with my nutritionist on Wednesday. She weighed and measured me and gave me a menu to follow as guide lines.

I was also told to drink at least 64oz of water a day. I have done that and am drinking at least 83oz a day. Does that sound like alot? It is and

I go to the bathroom at least every 30 minutes or so. I was told that would slow down.




I went and worked out on Saturday with my PT and he showed me some exercises using dumb bells or free weights. It was a good 45 minute workout. I was not as sore from this as I was from the Beast.

I went back on Monday and was on my own. I went and weighed in with the nutritionist and discovered that I had lost 1 1/2 pounds in 4 days.

It may not sound like much but it is very encouraging to me. I am doing something right.

As for the beast, I can now do it for 10 minutes at one time. Hopefully, I will be able to get up to 30 minutes and be well on my way to a healthier life.


I hope to be back soon with some more progress!
